Our Bedding Compost are entirely peat free and 100% Organic. It’s considered the best tool to enhance your garden, whether that be breathing new life into a dry or drab soil bed or topping off your vegetable plot – it’s an incredibly versatile product.

Our bags of bulk compost has a fine and friable composition, offering a deep rich black compost – perfect for borders, potting or enhancing growth for vegetables and herbs alike.

PH Tested to 7.5 and PAS100 Certified.

Bedding compost is an extremely versatile tool in the garden, but most associated with potting and covering flower beds. Our compost bulk bags are ideal for both annual tasks.

However, when it comes to planting trees, shrubs, and perennials – they need a little more help and consideration from the beginning of the planting process. Using compost with a Topsoil or a native soil is a helpful step.

Make a uniform or equally blended mixture of both the compost and soil in the planting hole or pot. This combination makes the perfect environment for growing transition, helping the young roots to easily expand amongst the nutritious environment and then eventually branch into the local soil.

Our bulk compost is a great place to start for those that are happy to blend with the native soil. If that sounds like a lot of work – then we have you covered, our VegeBlend Topsoil is a pre-mixed blend of Our Bedding Compost and Topsoil. Meaning you can get straight on with structuring and planting your shrubs and perennials with the perfect blended bed.

Delivering your Order

Standard delivery is a Kerbside delivery only, meaning the driver will pump truck your goods as close to your property as possible. A hard flat surface is required to use the pump truck, meaning; grass, gravel or inclined surfaces are prohibitive to a delivery outcome.Delivery is performed Mon-Fri / 0830-1730 as standard. Saturday Delivery is optional for an additional fee, please call to arrange. Orders placed after 14:30 on a Friday cannot qualify for Saturday delivery.

You can opt to ‘Leave My Order Safe’ at point of checkout, meaning you don’t have to be home to sign for the goods. This is beholden to your property being suitable to leave your order safely, for example on a driveway. Your order cannot be left safe on a public pathway without a signature.

If you have access issues based on the above information, you can request a small delivery vehicle performs the delivery. We recommend you call us on 01978 788622 to discuss this. If your delivery is made and you’re not home, or the order cannot be left safe - you will be liable for re-delivery that is typically re-routed the following working day, subject to access and likelihood of delivery outcome.

Unlike the original delivery charges that are subsidised by Ningbo Online, re-delivery and return charges will be charged at full delivery rates which are issued to Ningbo Online by the Third Party Transport company. Refusing a delivery for any other reason than damage will result in Delivery/Return Charges, it is the customers responsibility to discuss returns prior to refusing deliveries by calling us on 01978788622
